Nowadays, there is lots of ways student get money. Some of them are sponsored by their parents and some of them are sponsored by each company for their study. By the end of the semester, students always complain that they are out of money. Thus, by this research, this report will come out with the way student spend their money. A research reports such as this may show the pattern of spending money by UMP student. In our opinion, students spend their money into 3 categories. There are academic, daily needs and entertainment. For academic, they spend their money to buy references book, stationary, photocopy notes and tutorial and so on. While for daily needs, they are spending money to buy foods, beverage, clothes and toiletries. Students also need to have entertainment. So they do release their tension by enjoy themselves with their friends.

In our research, student is a person who officially registered as UMP student and finished their studies in UMP. They are also our respondent for our research. Money: Money means more than the coin, paper or plastic to acquire goods and services. Money is linked to complex emotions, feelings and behaviors. Each person has "money messages" that are based on past experiences, what you observed and what you were taught. These money messages reflect the attitudes, perceptions and expectations that influence your financial behaviors today. Sponsorship: an organization that responsible to take care about students’ studies cost in UMP until they have finish their studies and students need to pay back their loan after they are graduated. Spend: money for small personal expenses. Students pay out of their money to buy something for their necessary.
